Nazareth Academy maintains a 25 station computer lab, which students from grades K4-8th utilize throughout the school year. Here, they learn mouse and keyboarding skills, Microsoft Office applications, internet safety, how to conduct academic research and compose papers using MLA formatting.
In 2010 a generous donation allowed the smart board project to begin. Nazareth Academy is proud to have Smartboards installed in every classroom for grades Pre-K4 through 8th. Smart boards are utilized by teachers and students to prepare them for a technological future.
Lego Robotics is a fun, hands-on elective available for 7th and 8th grade students. Students learn the basics of building and programming and enjoy different friendly bot competitions within the class. This interactive elective teaches technology skills and how to be a creative and innovative thinker. These experiences provide our students with opportunities to collaborate, communicate, be creative, and think critically.
