She taught at Nazareth from 1977-l982, teaching 3rd and 5th grade as well as coaching Jr.H. girls' volleyball, softball and track. Since 1992, after a short stay in Bay City and Cuero, she is once again back at Nazareth Academy and teaching Jr. H. Religion.
Sister Mary Jean shares," Nazareth Academy has been a great place to be. I have enjoyed teaching Religion and teaching the children and relatives of former students. A highlight of my career over these years has been to have many students use their musical talents at our school liturgies. They accompany Sr. Bernarda and me on guitar. I hope to continue ministering here at Nazareth Academy and look forward to many new and challenging activities as well as the many new students walking through our school doors. I am grateful for all God's blessings in my life."
