The cafeteria will be serving hot meals daily beginning with the first day of school.
Each month’s menu will be posted on the Nazareth Academy website. The lunch count is taken with the morning attendance in the classrooms. At that time, students will choose between the main entrée (listed first on menu) or the alternate entrée (listed second). In addition, the tray includes vegetables, fruit, and white or chocolate milk. The cafeteria staff work hard at making nutritious meals. Other items for sale during the lunch period, commonly known as “snacks,” are chips, cookies, protein bars, ice cream, extra milk, and bottled water. We also have snack entrées, Hot Pockets and macaroni and cheese cups, that students are able to purchase and microwave.
The price of the daily student lunch is currently $3.75 and the Adult Lunch is $4.50. Snacks are $1.50 each. Protein bars and Snack Entrées are $2.00. Lunches and snacks must be prepaid.
The preferred method of payment for cafeteria purchases will be through the FACTS portal beginning in August. However, cash and checks are accepted in the school office.
According to our guidelines, students are not allowed to bring in or consume caffeine or carbonated drinks in the cafeteria during lunch hours. No fast-food will be allowed to be brought in by students or guests.
REFUNDS: All refunds must be requested in advance and picked up by the parents from the school office before the last day of the school year. Refunds will be given only to parents. If a child is withdrawn during the school year, refunds may be requested at that time.
